Rebecca Benjamin has a reputation for always having a song for everything and if people didn’t think she was crazy, she would prefer to sing at all times! She came on staff in 2009 and enjoys the work that she does with the music at Bucks. In addition to this music experience, Rebecca teaches private piano and voice lessons, teaches in the Schools of Music and Education at Cairn University, has a solo concert ministry, leads worship at retreats and also sings at various other venues.
Rebecca was raised in a loving, Christian home and believed at an early age that Jesus had died on the cross for her sins and that He was in Heaven building a home for her there. At the age of 13, she went on a missions trip and while on it, rededicated her life to Jesus. She praises God for that pivotal time in her life and the God-directed choices she made as a result. She has a Master's degree in Education and Bachelor's degrees in Bible and Music Education from Cairn University. It was in a college music group that she met her husband, Blair. Even prior to their marriage in 1995, they partnered in ministry and now have the privilege of parenting and loving on their six biological children and two in-laws: Collin & Tia, Jake & Janelle, Hannah, Aaron, Aimee and Karissa. Her desire is that all she does be for the glory of God and that every aspect of life is an act of worship.
