Pastor Ken came to BCCC in December of 1998. Back then, the church was comprised of only a few families that met in an old barn that was converted to a community center. Since that time, we have made great strides in defining our purpose as a church and pursuing that purpose to strategically reach our community with the Good News of the Gospel. Pastor Ken's gifts and ministry experience are diverse and have enabled BCCC to grow and become an established, thriving ministry in our community.
Prior to coming to BCCC, Pastor Ken had served as an associate pastor for four years leading youth ministries, developing adult Christian education programs, teaching Bible in a Christian school environment and, as a musician, using his talent in leading contemporary worship. He has clearly defined himself as a pastor/teacher and is impassioned to teach and preach practical theology. He defines "deep preaching" as "not simply filled brains but lives changed."
Pastor Ken received his master’s degree from Biblical Theological Seminary and his undergraduate work was completed at Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University). He also holds a certificate in homiletics (preaching) from the Haddon Robinson School of Biblical Preaching at Lancaster Bible College.
Pastor Ken and his wife, Karen, met while in college and married in the Summer of ’92. Karen (B.S. in El. Ed. and Bible) was a first grade teacher until motherhood called her to stay home with their children. As a couple, the Millers complement one another well and have a passion to minister to people both inside and outside of the church. Their heart beat is to model a loving, healthy, Christ-centered home and marriage to their church, community and family to the glory of God. The Millers have six children and two grandchildren.
